We begin by having an in-person or virtual mutual interview. This is a no cost, zero obligation conversation to discuss your needs, my services and if I’m available for the time of your birth. Before the interview, I will email you a contract and materials about my services to review so you can think about questions in advance.
Because I want to provide high quality care, I only take on 6-8 birth clients in the months of February, March, April and May. This allows me to get proper rest and to take care of my family, my primary vocation, which in turn allows me to be fully present to my clients. I am available for postpartum help October-May. Please reach out to set up an interview to discuss the specifics of my availability.
If you are a teen, college student and or single mother, please contact me to discuss your options. I can help guide you through possible insurance coverage, reduced cost or pro bono doula support with me or with another doula.
$1200 Birth package includes:
- Minimum of 1 prenatal visit (additional as needed)
- Identification of your support needs
- Unlimited phone consultations upon hiring through 6 weeks postpartum
- 24 hour on-call availability from 38 weeks until time of birth
- Continuous support during birth process
- 1 postpartum visit of 2 hours
Additional postpartum hours can be added at the rate of $50 an hour. You can also schedule me for only postpartum help at the same rate.
A $400 deposit is due at the time of hire and will go toward the total of $1200. Payment is due in full by 36 weeks gestation.
